Your data, our respect

Privacy Policy

Your freedom to move freely online

You visit our website processcommunicationmodel.nl for information and/or to order products. If you are interested, you order products, participate in a promotion, or register for a training. In doing so, you leave online traces and/or personal data behind.

This requires conscious communication and security measures.

As a company, we are obligated to inform you about how your personal data is handled: what happens with it, for what purpose, and how it is stored and secured. This information is detailed in this Privacy Statement. We have aimed to make it as concise, transparent, understandable, and easily accessible as possible. However, as no one is perfect and we all view information and the world through our own lens, please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. You can reach us via the contact form, by sending an email, or by calling us.

Your data is handled carefully, confidentially, and respectfully.

Certainly. If you request information via our contact form or reach out to us in any other way, we will use your email address or phone number to contact you. If you order products from our webshop, we will use your (address) details to send them to you. Any personal comments you may provide when purchasing products or contacting us by email will remain confidential within our mailbox. We handle all of this in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). More detailed information is provided below.

What personal data is involved?

By visiting our webshop, ordering products in our webshop, filling out a contact form, participating in a promotion, and/or using the services of Process Communication Nederland, your personal data is processed: first and last name, address details, phone number, email address, IP address (the address from which the website was visited, i.e., the internet connection used), and data about your activities on the website or that you provide when participating in a promotion. We use this data to execute the agreement and, if applicable, to improve our website. We only store and use personal data that you provide directly, in the context of the service you requested or when it is clear that they are provided to us for processing. For example, we only use your address details to send you the ordered products.

Why is this data requested?

To contact you and/or to provide services (sale of a product, registration for a training). We logically use your name and contact details to maintain contact and inform you about relevant matters related to your inquiry. Information shared by phone is recorded in short notes for as long as necessary to provide the requested service. If you have given permission, your data will also be processed to otherwise inform you about our business activities, and to analyze visitor behavior to improve the website. When you order products in our webshop, we will only use your address details to send the products to you. The processing of your data therefore takes place on the following grounds: legitimate interest; performance of the agreement; and/or based on consent.

What doesn't happen with your data?

Your data will not be sold to others. It will also not be used to compile extensive visitor profiles, nor for decision-making based on automated processing (i.e., by computer programs or systems without human intervention).

Will your data be shared with third parties?

Yes, only if necessary due to a legal obligation or a legitimate interest such as reasonable business operations:

  • website host, for storing data from contact forms
  • Google Analytics, for analyzing website visitor data

Furthermore, we will not provide the data you have provided to other parties, unless you have given prior consent, it is necessary for the execution of the agreement (such as to the postal company to send the products you ordered), or we are permitted or required to do so by law.

What happens while you browse?

On our website, we use functional, necessary cookies to make the website function. A cookie is a small text file that is sent along with your first visit to our website and is then stored by your browser on your computer or mobile device. The next time you visit our website, this stored information can be sent back to our servers.

Cookie consent

Because we only use cookies to make the website function, a pop-up will appear when you visit our website for the first time, explaining our functional cookies. In it, we point out that we always place necessary cookies and that you do not need to give consent for this.

Cookies: Let them work for you

Through your internet browser settings, you can opt out of cookies (stop saving them), delete all previously stored information, and receive a notification when a cookie is sent. Please note that some websites, including our own, may function less effectively if you disable all cookies. See also this explanation by the Dutch Consumers' Association. You can also find information under your browser's 'help' menu for setting your cookie preferences.

Enabling and disabling cookies

In your web browser, you can set it so that cookies are only saved when you agree to it. For more information, consult your browser's instructions or use its Help function. Please note: many websites, including ours, do not function optimally if cookies are disabled.

Most cookies also have an expiration date. If one is set, the cookie is automatically deleted once that date passes. You can also choose to manually delete cookies before their expiration date. Instructions for this can be found using your browser's Help function.

Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies ensure that our website functions properly and remembers your preferences. This means you won't have to re-enter the same information every time you visit, which is very convenient! They also allow products to remain in your shopping cart until you complete your purchase. We are permitted to place these cookies without your explicit consent. Necessary cookies will be stored for 365 days.

Your data is well secured.

We take the protection of your data seriously. Your data is not stored online ('in the cloud'), our computers are secured with appropriate and effective technical measures, and the website uses a reliable SSL certificate. You can recognize an SSL connection by the padlock icon and the word 'secure' before the URL. Additionally, we take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification of your personal data.

How long will your data be stored?

No longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Specifically: data from existing relationships is not stored longer than three years after the last contact. Customer data is not stored longer than three years if no agreement is reached. There is one exception: just like any entrepreneur, we are legally obliged to retain our administration, including invoices with address details, for seven years.

If your request concerns access to personal data linked to a cookie, you must send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find this in your browser settings.

Changes to this privacy and cookie statement

We reserve the right to amend this privacy and cookie statement. Changes will only be published on our website. It is therefore advisable to consult this policy regularly so that you are aware of any changes.

If something is incorrect, would you like to view or delete your data?
