How PCM Works

Communicate Effectively, Every Day: It's Possible with PCM.

  • As an individual, you make a positive difference.
  • As a team, you get the best out of everyone's differences
  • As a trainer or coach, you teach others the skills

While some people find it easier to talk, others are better at listening. Yet, it often takes effort to truly connect. With the Process Communication Model®, you learn skills to prevent miscommunication and get the most out of every conversation. This makes you more effective as a colleague, manager, trainer, or coach.

4 Steps to More Effective Communication

PCM is more than a personality test: it is a unique tool to decipher yourself and others. This ensures that you are full of energy and know what someone else needs. PCM distinguishes six personality types that we all possess. A different combination of these 6 types is central to each of us. In 4 steps, you utilize them all:

1.

Understand your personality

When you know your preferences, you understand what makes you feel good – and what drains your energy.

2.

Recognize what others do, say, and demonstrate

By observing others, you discover the best way to approach them.

3.

Adjust your communication style

Based on what you see and hear, you know what to do and say to truly connect.

4.

Build stronger relationships

In daily interactions, at work, in meetings, social situations – and at home.

Recognize and leverage interpersonal differences

The foundation of the Process Communication Model is your Personality House. This illustrates the structure and percentages of the six personality types within you. The order and intensity vary for everyone. So, you aren't simply 'yellow' or 'red,' but rather a unique blend of qualities, preferences, and potential pitfalls. The better you recognize these in yourself and others, the greater impact you can make.

That's why you choose Process Communication Model

Your questions,
our answers

The main difference between the Process Communication Model (PCM) and DISC is that DISC primarily focuses on observable behavior (how you come across), while PCM delves deeper into underlying personality, needs, and stress patterns.

Immediately. With self-insight, you become aware of your communication style and what you need to function well. And in contact with others: after just the first training, you will apply PCM in your next conversation. You build real skills by continuing to practice, in everyday interactions, under pressure, and with people who are different from you. You learn PCM by doing it, and in doing so, make a difference every day. For yourself and for others.

We all exhibit predictable patterns when experiencing stress. If you recognize these, in yourself as well as in others, you can do something about it. By properly recharging your own battery, you increase your resilience and reduce stress and miscommunication. PCM gives you the tools to manage your own stress and deal with the stress of others.
