Good care begins with good contact

In healthcare, you work under pressure every day. With colleagues who are different from you, in teams that are constantly changing, and with patients who count on you. PCM gives you the skills to communicate clearly even then, recognize stress, and bring out the best in yourself and others.

A quarter of young doctors suffer from burnout symptoms. Almost half perceive the workload as too high. Absenteeism in healthcare is structurally above the national average. Communication is the cause in 80% of cases.

Most training focuses on subject matter, not on the communication that makes work bearable or unbearable. This is not a lack of craftsmanship. This is what happens when you lack a shared language for behavior, motivation, and communication.

More than self-insight. Immediately applicable.

Knowing that people are different is one thing. Doing something about it? That is where the difference lies. With the Process Communication Model®, you learn to recognize behavioral differences and tailor your communication to what the other person needs, even when the pressure is high.

PCM distinguishes six personality types that we all possess, in a unique combination. No boxes, but practical skills that you apply immediately in every conversation.

With PCM, you learn:

  • To effectively adapt your communication
  • To motivate others effectively
  • To prevent stress and misunderstandings

For healthcare professionals who want to make a difference

I want to stay on my feet and get the best out of my team.

PCM is for you if you:

  • notices that stress in your team leads to errors or conflict
  • want to understand why certain colleagues react so differently from you
  • recognizes yourself in patterns that drain your energy
  • want to learn to set clear boundaries and guard your own energy
  • want to contribute to a safer work culture

PCM in Practice

Communication is the key to patient safety

PCM is scientifically substantiated and has been used in hospitals and healthcare organizations worldwide for over 40 years. The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons has trained more than 700 surgeons in PCM. Teams began speaking the same language, stress behavior was recognized earlier, and collaboration in and around the operating room improved noticeably.

Research confirms what healthcare professionals experience in practice: communication training demonstrably reduces communication errors, improves handover quality, and contributes directly to patient safety.

The PCM Basic Training is accredited by ABAN (18 points) for BIG-registered professionals and by the School Leaders Register (25 points). The PCM Team Summary is recognized by health insurer CZ as a preventive instrument for team health.

The human side of collaboration is not soft. It is essential.
