More calm, connection, and joy of learning in the classroom

As a teacher, lecturer, or school leader, you know: without connection, there is no learning. But how do you make genuine contact with every child or team member? And how do you stay afloat when the pressure is high, the schedule is full, and energy is depleted? PCM gives you the language, the insight, and the tools to make a difference. For your students and for yourself.

You know the kind of moments. A student who drops out. One who is being difficult. Or one you just can't get through to, no matter how hard you try. And meanwhile, the lesson continues, the group is large, and the hassle takes more energy than it should.

Not because you are doing it wrong. But because we are often unaware of how to reach that one student. What he or she needs to feel safe enough to learn.

PCM provides you with a language for this. No major interventions, but small choices in the moment. In how you say, ask, or respond. Choices that make the difference between resistance and learning. Every day.

Immediately applicable. Right in the middle of the lesson.

PCM provides you with a practical approach to the two things that matter most in education: making connections and maintaining them when things aren't going well.

You learn to recognize what a student needs to feel safe. You see sooner when behavior is a signal rather than a problem. And you know what you can do in that moment. Not later, but now.

Small choices. In how you ask something and how you respond. Standing alongside someone for a moment, instead of opposite them. That is exactly where you make the difference.

With PCM, you learn:

  • To effectively adapt your communication
  • To motivate students in a targeted way
  • To prevent stress and misunderstandings

For everyone who wants to make a difference in education

  • For teachers and lecturers
PCM is for you if you want to reach every child or student — from primary school to higher education. Even those you don't quite understand right now, who are being difficult, or whom you just can't seem to connect with. PCM gives you more calm in the classroom and more energy at the end of the day.
  • For school leaders
PCM helps you see what each team member needs. You recognize underlying tensions sooner, conduct difficult conversations more effectively, and lead in a way that suits every individual. The training courses count towards your mandatory Continuing Professional Development (up to 200 points in the School Leaders Register).
  • For coaches and mentors of youth
PCM has a special profile for young people aged 15 and over. Give the young people you work with the gift of self-insight and the language to understand themselves and others.
  • For educational teams
Doing PCM together gives you as a team a shared language. Not only more understanding of each other, but also the actual use of those insights in daily contact. More openness, less miscommunication, and a stronger pedagogical climate for everyone.

Your questions,
our answers

PCM teaches you to recognize what a student needs to feel safe enough to learn. Not based on assumptions, but on observation. Small choices in how you ask, say, or respond make the difference between a student who disengages and a student who participates.

Immediately. After the first PCM training, you can already positively influence communication in the next conversation or the next lesson. And you discover what you personally need to maintain your energy levels, so that the work gives you energy instead of draining it.

The PCM Basic Training awards 25 points towards your Continuing Professional Development as a school leader, and the PCM Advanced Training awards another 25 points. If you continue to the Coach certification, an additional 50 points are added. The Trainer certification awards 100 points. In total, you can obtain up to 200 points for the School Leaders Register through PCM.

Yes. PCM gives you insight not only into your students, but also into yourself. You learn to recognize stress signals early, in yourself and in others. This way, you know in time what you need to maintain your energy levels and can make conscious choices before it comes at the expense of yourself or your work.
