This is PCM
We can all interact positively with each other. However, when under pressure, we sometimes become annoyed, irritable, or even withdraw completely. This can lead to misunderstandings, frustrations, or difficulties. The Process Communication Model helps you observe your own behavior and that of others. It also helps you understand different personalities and our various preferences. This way, you learn to effectively adapt your communication style and make the most of every conversation, in every situation, every single day.
How it Works
Process Communication Model is a unique tool to understand yourself and others. It identifies six personality types that we all possess in a different order: Thinker, Persister, Rebel, Promoter, Harmonizer, and Imaginer. Each type has its own strengths and preferences. And a different combination of these types is central to each of us. Practice PCM in four steps:
1. Be aware of your personality
When you know your preferences, you understand what you need to do to feel good. This helps you manage your energy and stress, and take good care of yourself.
2. Recognize what others do, say, and show
By observing others, you recognize their preferences and discover the best way to approach them.
3. Adapt your communication style
Based on what you see and hear, you know what you can do and say to truly connect.
4. Build stronger relationships
Through positive daily interactions at work, in meetings, video calls, presentations, social situations – and at home.
During the 3-day PCM Basictraining, you will gain insight into your natural communication style, identify your personal challenges, and learn how to translate this knowledge into pleasant and effective communication. Work more effectively, with increased energy, enjoyment, and results! Learn to transform characteristic behaviors in yourself and others into something positive.
