Retreat in Norway for women who have lost or are going to lose a parent, brother, sister, or child (anticipatory grief).
During this retreat, you will have the opportunity to reflect on and embrace your loved one, surrounded by the warmth and understanding of women who have also experienced loss. It's a place of recognition and shared experience, where there is room for the various emotions that coexist in grief.
“Grief is the flip side of love.”
Additionally, we look at what would support you in this loss. Losing a loved one is losing a part of yourself. Only when what has been lost and how it affects your life is fully acknowledged, does clarity emerge about what you may allow yourself and what you may give space to.
“Grieving is a landscape so varied and so vast, that it can only be experienced by your own most intimate experience. – Joan Halifax”
Using your personal PCM profile, you can reflect on the aspects of yourself that emerged in your relationship with your loved one, and where these aspects can find new ways to express themselves. Your profile also reveals your communication and environmental preferences. Amidst all the changes that grief brings, you might notice something missing. By clarifying what that is, you can consciously seek it out.
Loss deeply challenges your resilience. By understanding what recharges you and recognizing when you enter a stress cycle, you can consciously tap into that resilience. Your personal profile makes this clear.
